The Drapery was woven long before it was named, stitched into a life carried across continents, cultures, and moments of quiet self-discovery.

Brandon, the founder of The Drapery, was born in New York and grew up as a military kid, moving from Virginia to Germany and then to Japan. Overseas from age 7 to 21, every new place added a new layer with new people, new lessons, and new ways of understanding humanity. Adaptation became second nature. Respect became the foundation. Love became the constant.

Raised in a home filled with gratitude, humor, and an open heart, Brandon learned early that every person deserves to be seen and valued. Diversity was not only part of his story, it became his lens, his compass, his creative spark.

After returning to the United States, he studied Exercise Science in New York and spent over 16 years as a civilian personal trainer for the Marine Corps. Helping people elevate their mind, body, and confidence became his purpose. Through that work, he realized something deeper. Transformation starts from within, but it shows on the outside.

Then one day, a simple custom T-shirt changed everything. What began as a design for a gym incentive program opened a door and showed him how clothing could speak, how style could connect, and how a message could move people.

That is how The Drapery came alive.
